Two dental surgery practitioners
demanding and committed
Dr Laurence Williamson
Passionate about adapted oral medicine, Dr. Williamson co-founded one of the first French practices dedicated to this field in 2017 after a rewarding hospital-university career in France and Asia.
In 2024, she expanded her skills in management and corporate law at IFG and Paris Sorbonne University. This dual master's degree was internationally validated through a defense at Stanford University, California.
Dr Sandra Zalinski
A qualified specialist in adapted oral medicine, she contributed to developing care for people living with disabilities in a hospital setting before co-founding, with Dr. Williamson, one of the first dedicated private practices in this field.
Together, they founded IMDEx to promote and elevate the standards of adapted dental care.
What is adapted oral medicine or A.O.M.?
Adapted oral medicine, also known as adapted dental surgery, is a specialty focused on the care of patients with specific needs: individuals with disabilities, dependent elderly individuals, or patients with complex medical conditions (chronic or debilitating illnesses).
This "holistic" approach addresses the unique challenges faced by these patient groups, including physical access to care, communication, and pain management.
