Experience and high standards at the service of your project

Put all the chances on your side!

Dr. Laurence Williamson,
move forward and take on the challenges

Doctor in dental surgery, qualified specialist in adapted oral medicine (or oral and dental medicine).

Former assistant at the Nantes University Hospitals.

Graduated in 1994, she completed the DU in implantology at Nantes at the end of her studies, alongside taking a position as a hospital-university assistant in the oral surgery department at the Nantes University Hospital (CHU).

At the same time, she practiced general dentistry in the private sector.

Until 2008, she alternated between private practice and teaching at the CHU and in private practice for the Zimmer company.

In 2008, she moved to Cambodia with her three children and exclusively practiced pediatric dentistry in humanitarian settings (providing care to children who were victims of violence).

From 2009 to 2012, she moved to Hanoi, Vietnam, and worked for the French Hospital in Hanoi and SOS International, practicing general dentistry.

Laurence returned to France in July 2012 and took a position as a hospital practitioner at the Angers University Hospital, where she gradually transitioned from general dentistry to learning adapted oral medicine, training in maxillofacial prosthetics, using MEOPA, and medical hypnosis.

In 2016, together with Dr. Zalinski, she decided to create a private practice dedicated to adapted oral medicine, supported by a clinic that embraced the project enthusiastically.

To address this extraordinary and complex patient base, she also trained in orthodontics and continues to expand her knowledge to provide a holistic approach to the patient’s needs.

In 2022, the lack of suitable structures in France prompted the two colleagues to take action, and Laurence decided to undertake a series of commercial training courses to create the IMDEx company (International Medical and Dental Expertise).

To do so, she obtained an MBA in "Medical Project Creation" from Harvard Medical School in 2023. She also trained at IFG Paris Sorbonne in two Master's degrees in organizational management, entrepreneurial management, business and labor law, and governance, which she will complete in May 2024.

In April 2024, she completed this dual qualification internationally by defending her internship thesis at Stanford University in San Francisco.

Two profiles at the service of committed professionals!

The complementary backgrounds of Dr. Williamson and Dr. Zalinski, combining expertise in adapted care, prevention, international training, and project management, allow IMDEx to present solid strengths and become a key partner for dental surgeons, medical and paramedical professionals.

IMDEx thus embodies excellence and innovation in the field of adapted oral medicine, offering high-quality training and support to meet the expectations of healthcare professionals.

Dr. Sandra Zalinski,
tenacity and high standards

Doctor in dental surgery, qualified specialist in adapted oral medicine (or oral and dental medicine).

Expert before the Court of Appeal of Angers.

In the 2000s, freshly graduated, Sandra ZALINSKI left the Paris region and settled in Angers.

She contacted the UFSBD because prevention was essential in her eyes—it is the foundation of practice.

At the same time, passionate about surgery, she approached the CHU to complement her initial training and learn from the oral surgeons at the hospital.

Sandra Zalinski became a qualified specialist in adapted oral medicine. After 10 years of practice in public hospital settings, she made the bet that welcoming patients with disabilities was possible in a conventional private practice and developed, alongside Dr. WILLIAMSON, a practice offering care equivalent to that received by able-bodied patients.

She is constantly seeking to meet needs that cannot be addressed in a conventional city practice.

With the desire for a holistic approach to the patient and thus a comprehensive response to their problem, she trained in functional orthodontics and oral implantology.

In 2023, the two practitioners founded IMDEx, a company dedicated to supporting colleagues by training them to welcome extraordinary patients with serenity and professionalism.

A huge thank you to the whole Saint-Léonard team, and especially to Sandra and Laurence for welcoming me with open arms. I've always felt the need to help EXTRAordinary people, but I was very apprehensive. Thanks to this course, Sandra and Laurence were able to give me the keys I was waiting for to treat them. During this week, I learned to gain confidence and to know how to dissect each case in order to make them totally accessible to any practitioner who feels like it. I've never smiled as much in the office as I did this week with these little patients. Many thanks again for this very rewarding experience. I look forward to being able to help my Guadeloupean patients thanks to you. You've opened my eyes to the kind of dentist I want to become.
